Tony Lombardi
[Note: The following is an unedited version of the candidate's own words]
I have worked in public transit for the past 26 years. Married for 23 years with two sons, aged 22 and 16. Our family has lived in Vaughan for 14 years.
5 Action Points
1. I will not accept any donations or contributions for my campaign.
2. We need a major Performing Arts Center in Vaughan, to bring performing talent here and to keep our talented youth from leaving.
3. Garbage and green (grass clippings, leaves, etc.) collection in the summer months must be weekly, including blue box and green bin.
4. Bicycle lanes on major roads next to the sidewalk.
5. All transit routes must lead to the nearest subway. We can tweak some bus routes and add new ones to newer subdivisions as the subway system gets closer and closer to Vaughan.

Looks like local schools are studying Vaughan election and the candidates. Good way to engage future voters! (even if it means more homework, right?) -AD
