Having successfully served both students and parents of Ward 2 for the past 13 years, I amseeking re-election as your School Board Trustee.
Over the years, I have truly enjoyed working with parents, students and administrators to represent our school community. It is a pleasure to see that the Board’s commitment to Catholic Learning Communities has been implemented and going strong. This approach to learning has helped us to achieve the highest EQAO testing results in the GTA.
I have worked diligently to ensure accountability to taxpayers with balanced budgets and to always seek ways to put more resources into the classroom. These are just some of the successes achieved during this past term.
I would like the opportunity to continue my work at the Board for another term. On October 25th, I ask for your continued support in keeping “Kids First”.
Top 5 priorities
• A new high school for Sonoma Heights and Kleinburg students.
• More resources for initiatives and programs for our existing high schools St. Jean de Brebeuf and Holy Cross.
• Promote Greening / Environmental initiatives in our schools.
• More technology teaching tools in both the elementary and secondary schools.
• More partnerships with post secondary colleges and universities.
