I was born on June 28th 1953 in Toronto, Ontario to an orthodox Jewish family. I grew up in the downtown Kensington district before the family moved to what was then North York.
I have been married to Niki Giannantonio Weinberg since 1999 and we have two sons, Michael and James.
I was educated in the public school system and attended the University of Toronto where I studied political science.
We have lived in Thornhill Ward 4 for over 14 years. In fact I am the only Ward 4 candidate living in Ward 4.
I own and operate the Vaughan based Styles Q. Corporate Imaging which is a promotional, advertising and marketing company.
Prior to this I was with Air Canada for over 15 years and had been in the entertainment business for over 20 years.
I also owned and operated In Style Jeanswear located at York University.
As a motorcycle enthusiast I have organized charity events and worked to raise over $50,000 for the Canadian Diabetes Association and the York Central Hospital Dialysis Unit.
