About
Welcome to the Vaughan Today politics blog. This is where you’ll find the latest news and information about what’s stirring in municipal, provincial and federal politics.
Launched in 2010 as a way to keep an eye on the ramp-up to the municipal election, overwhelming response to our postings about the municipal election and the federal byelection that followed encouraged us to keep the blog going.
We now view it as a space for reporting and commentary on all things political that, due to format or deadline considerations, do not make it into our monthly magazine.

Thank you!
So much media bombardment about the Toronto election!
I’ve been trying to find one place to gather info on the Vaughan election, and this is the only comprehensive site I’ve found.

Same here, Jean. I live in Vaughan, but work in Toronto. There’s so much media attention about the race in Toronto and virtually no mention of Vaughan. I found my answers here and I’ve now made my decisions!!!
Thank you, Vaughan Today. It was good discovering you!
